LITT 2008: Basics of Web Publishing for Libraries and Information Centres
Theme: Basics of Web Publishing for Libraries and Information Centres
Libraries in Nigeria are at a crossroad in their attempt to automate their operations. Over the years, there had been considerable efforts by individual libraries and sponsors in setting up these projects. It is highly imperative for key actors to come together and share ideas on how to bring this to pass. This gathering will address salient issues that will not only address some problems currently faced by libraries but also meet the future needs. The nation has waited for too long for libraries to provide the necessary access they require in meeting their needs. The time has come to move forward.
